We are delighted to announce the release of the new version 2.2 which introduces the UEFA Europe League, starting from the 2nd legs of top-16 playoffs. We spent a lot of time and effort to implement this league and we are looking forward to seeing some good results. There are around 12 recommendations expected for today's matches.
Last month marked the debut of our Greek Super League predictions, which enjoyed a positive start with an average profit of 13% (+4.2 points based on 31 suggestions). That brings the total number of leagues covered to 14.
We are delighted to announce the release of the new major version 1.9.0 which introduces localization. We have completed the technical preparations required to localize both our app and our site. There is a Russian version available as of today, and we are going to need your help to translate into more languages. Therefore we have created a localization program that you can participate in.
You are asked to translate our site and our app to your native language, but we require this work to be of high quality in terms of grammar and spelling. You should be able to support our blog posts as well by translating them on a regular basis. Members of the localization program will receive lifetime premium subscription and will be added to the app credits should they wish to.
We are delighted to announce the release of the new 1.8.0 version which introduces the Portuguese Primeira Liga. We've been working really hard to make this new league available sooner than initially expected (early March). Tomorrow (Saturday, 24 January) will mark the debut of our first predictions and recommendations for Portugal's first division.
We are pleased to announce the release of the new 1.7.0 version which introduces the Suggested Bets History area. From now on, you will find all of our recommendations based on confirmed lineups on the History screen 30-60 mins before each recommended event. This will prove that we don't manipulate our weekly reports and they are 100% transparent.
In addition, we have added MatchBook exhange. It's a bookmaker offering great odds and the lowest commission in the market, just 1%. We highly recommend to sign up with them, as it will increase your profitability significantly.
We are pleased to announce the release of the new 1.6.0 version which introduces predictions and recommendations for Champions League. Our recommendations for this particular league will be in "experimental" mode as it's a very recent addition, and as a result we expect to have some selected few recommended events which will hopefully generate profit.
In addition, we have updated photos for most players while adding plenty of new ones as well. We recommend downloading the full version again in order to get all the new player photos we've added. Use the download links below...
We're excited to announce the release of the new 1.5.0 version which includes quite a few additions. The most important one is that we've added Champions League fixtures and we're currently working on preparing the statistical models for 3-way result predictions. Hopefully we'll have the very first "experimental" suggestions soon.
Knowing the usage trends of Footbe during last season, it became clear to us that our users were not utilizing the tickets much (if at all). Despite having a visual tutorial for that inside the app, tickets remained relatively unused. Therefore we felt we needed to do something to breathe new life into this feature because we consider it to be quite important for tracking efficiency. And just like that, Ticket Wizard was born.
Ticket Wizard is a new intuitive way of creating tickets based on your preferences and our suggestions.
It's about time we break our silence and let you in on what's moving at the Footbe camp these days. We haven't posted since May as there were no active football leagues we currently cover. Sadly we didn't have enough time to work on national teams in order to include the recent World Cup games in our app. However we plan to add national competitions in the future as well as European cups, but adding more domestic leagues is our top priority at the moment.
Once the football season came to an end in May, we immediately started working on various improvements for a new version of our desktop app. The main focus of our efforts is on coming up with even better statistical models for each one of the leagues covered. It's a difficult and time-consuming task but we really want to get more efficient and stable results next season, despite the fact that we had a positive season with a +252.4% ROI.
We're pleased to announce the release of new version 1.1.0. The main change in this version is the implementation of statistical models for "Both Teams to Score" (BTS) events, as well as recommendations for this type of events. BTS events are available on Footbe's homepage as well, and a filter has been added to quickly show/hide fixtures by event type.
Improvements for the formations screen (v1.0.5 - April 6th)
We have applied a couple of tweaks to the formations screen, by changing the way players appear on the pitch.
Player shapes have been replaced by a kit/shirt with the team's main colors, player's number is on the shirt, and Footbe's skill rating is to the bottom left side of the shirt as a percentage bar. In addition, we have added a status of appearance (blue text to the bottom right side of the shirt) that will make it easy to know if a player is making his debut or if he's returning to the starting lineup.
