For the 4th round of the German Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt will take on 1. FC Köln at home. Eintracht are currently lying in the 9th place, while Cologne are standing in the 4th spot with 3 more points. Eintracht Frankfurt lost to Wolfsburg (2-1) away, then shared the points with Augsburg (1-1), and defeated Stuttgart away with the emphatic 4-1. The attacking line of Eintracht is represented by Castaignos and Seferovic who are playing quite well this season. In this match Eintracht will miss Chandler, Anderson and Kittel. Alexander Meier was their best striker last season and he'll certainly strengthen their offense further.
The last match of this Bundesliga season is a kind of a small derby. Schalke are third and almost have secured the Champions League next season, but they will need to win this game to make sure they finish third as they can still finish 4th and have to go into the qualifying rounds for the Champions League. Borussia, on the other hand, have secured the Europa League so basically, both teams have achieved their objectives so can play without pressure.
Hamburg entertain Wolfsburg at AOL Arena. Both teams need badly the three points here but for completely different reasons. Hamburg need the points to avoid the drop to Bundesliga II which would be the 1st in their history, while Wolfsburg need the 3 points to stay in the fight for the 4th place which means Champions League for next season.
