Inter v Milan (13 September 2015)

For the 4th round of the Italian Serie A, city rivals will clash with Inter being the typical host. Both teams have strengthened significantly during the summer transfer window and their fans have quite high expectations going into this season. Inter started the season with 3 deserved wins; 4-3 against Empoli at home, 1-0 over Atalanta also at home and 2-1 against Carpi away. It is noteworthy that 3 latest goals were scored by newcomer Stevan Jovetić. Milan started by winning Atalanta on the road (3-1), then losing to Fiorentina away by 2-0 (even though they played most of the game with 10 men) and finally winning over Empoli at home (2-1).

Fiorentina v Genoa (12 September 2015)

On September 12th, Genoa hosts Fiorentina for the 3rd round of Italian Serie A. These rival teams are lying in the middle of the league table after two rounds. The "Viola" stand in the 10th place with three points, while Genoa are located one line above with also 3 points. Fiorentina made an emphatic win over AC Milan (2-0), but then lost to Torino (3-1). They were up 1-0 after the 1st half, but conceded 3 goals in the second half, leaving Turin with no points. Paulo Sousa's side lacks consistency, as it's only the beginning of the season and many players are still working on becoming match fit.

Roma v Juventus (30 August 2015)

For the 2nd round of Italian Serie A, Roma will host the defending champion Juventus. After Allegri's arrival at Juve last season, nothing has really changed. He led his team to the Champions League final, which they lost to a superior Barcelona side (3-1). Allegri will have to build a new team together after losing key players in Vidal, Pirlo and Tevez. As a result, Juve is likely to struggle to defend their title this season.
