Hi,

It's impossible to define the bet which can be considered 100% safe (unless you know that the game is unfair). We just can predict what result will be and try to overperform bookmaker by comparing our prediction to bookmaker odds.

You can see the list of our recommendations on the Home screen in Top Bets of the Week box. 'A'-ranked recommendations are considered the most profitable in long-term.

I'm sorry, but that's not how our system works. It's impossible just to define the only game with 100% correct prediction and make profit on it. You can win one time, and lose another. E.g. even if we're talking about games like Schalke - Bayern Munich where Bayern is considered as a favourite, there is still 35% chance Bayern will not win, so every 3rd game favourite will fail in the game like this.

You should do as much bets as possible according to our recommendations in order to ensure profit in long-term. The more bets you place - the more reliable and stable results you will get.

To better understand the whole concept of value betting approach please check this:

Footbe follows the Value Betting approach. Based on this approach, the event with the highest probability is not always suggested, but instead we recommend the one considered as the most profitable in the long term.

Here's an example:

12/2/14 West Brom vs. Chelsea had the following probabilities: 18% - 37% - 44%, and best odds: 8.00 - 4.65 - 1.53. Even though the most probable event according to Footbe's estimate is a Chelsea win, it's not the most profitable option to bet on. Why? Well, let's assume we have 100 matches with the same probabilities/odds. If you make 100 bets of $1 on Chelsea to win, you can expect to win 44 out of 100 bets which means we bet $100 in total and get back $1 * 44 * 1.53 = $67.32. So we actually lose $32.68, or in terms of profit -32.7%. But if we placing 100 bets on a draw (37% chance), we'll get back $1 * 37 * 4.65 = $172.05. That's +$72.05, or +72% profit right there.

We recommend to bet on all suggested events (Top Bets of the Week) based on starting lineups. Our suggestions based on all ranked events (A, B, C, D).

Maybe there was a draw (I'm not sure), but based on starting lineups there is suggestion on Barcelona win. Changes in lineups cause change of recommendation.

Ok, it seems I've got what is the problem.

Due to mistake in odds data provided to us there is a 8.00 by paf bookmaker for a draw, which doesn't make a sense (correct value is 3.5-3.8). For reporting purpose we use the most popular and the most reliable bookies, such as Pinnacle, Bet365, Marathon. So paf values are not taken into account. On the screen below you can see how Prediction page should look - suggestion is Barcelona win.

You should select bookmakers you have accounts with in order to see suggestions based on the odds of the selected bookmakers only. Since different bookmakers have different odds it can affect our suggestions. So to avoid problems like this you need to do the following:

  1. Select bookmakers you have accounts with (Home -> Bookmakers page)
  2. Open prediction page of any fixture
  3. Click 'Selected' button in order to see propositions of selected bookmakers only.
  4. Now on the home screen you will see recomendations according to selected bookmakers as well

I'm sorry for the confusion. I suggest to check Prediction page of every game you're going to bet on, it will make you understand better why exactly the event is suggested. Also Prediction page is used to add your events to your tickets which will help you to track your efficiency among all bookies accounts.

I'd recommend to use flat betting on the suggested bets (A, B, C, D). Stake amount = bankroll / expected number of bets. Next week we expect around 65 bets, so recommended Stake is 1000 / 65 = 15 euro.
