We're working on update of statistical models for a new season, Russian and Ukrainian Leagues will be available in new release on Wednesday the latest. We've made few changes and hopefully it will improve our results.
Also we're working on simplified web-version of footbe, which will make our predictions available for all platforms. No specific date for release.
Regarding new leagues, we will have Turkish Superlig implemented before season starts, and will do our best to add Greek Superleague as soon as possible.
There won't be any extra-features added in the app, we're concentrating on models improvement and web-based version.

Where can I get this update? Can't even start the footbe software without getting an Application Error that automatically closes the software.

We have just release build 1245 with predictions available for 4 new leagues starting tomorrow: English Premier League and Championship, French Ligue 1, and Eredivisie.
Around 40 suggestions expected this week-end in all 6 leagues available at the moment.

footbe v2.0 has been just released. We've finished update of statistical model, now all 12 leagues are available.
The total number of games per round increased to 103, around 70 of them will be having suggestions. Champions League predictions will become available after group stage draw.

What kind of results other Footbe-users have had in this season? I have played only couple of weeks but nothing spectacular so far.

Yes, till now nothing spectacular, but this is long term investment.
I have to say again that injury time has eaten many units till now, I hope that this trend will change....

I have not followed that closely but that sucks if injury time has took many units from our pockets. In Matchbook you can lock in profits if you want. I know couple of people who have a habit closing their positions before injury time if they are profitable.

Sometimes is not sample to close positions because of too many matches are playing at the same time, so it is difficult to track all this things.
Especcially when one team receive red card like this weekend Inter-Atalanta ( gol in 93 min and Atalanta received red card at 71 min ). I was thinking to at least defend my unit stake with another opposite bet with 10-20 % of my original stake, and if goal is scored at injury time I do not lose nothing ,because of big odds in injury time. But now it is easy to be clever after the game ends. I will follow for some time the losing and winning bets in injury time and then I will decide what to do

I think they will be pretty random in the long-run, sometimes the overtime goals benefit you, sometimes they dont. But from a risk-management standpoint, it might be a good idea to hedge if you have open profit, game is like 1-0 and 89min has already passed. Let say you played the underdog 100 € @ 5.7 and now they lead 1-0 at 90min mark -> their odds will be very low -> you can hedge nicely in Matchbook: hedging stake = stake * (entry odds / exit odds). I dont know what is optimal though. I have just let them run... So far I am +2 points after 2 weeks.

It is too early for final decision about this. I will now collect informations till New Year or maybe till the end of whole season and then I will see what to do. It would be good to make stats for last 2 seasons of Footbe predictions ( because you have more then 5000 predictions so you can make much better picture about this situations ) , but unfortunatelly I do not have too much time to calculate this . Anyway good luck to all !
